Join us for winter 2025 classes! Tap and flamenco classes are being offered by Pedro Aurelio at 288 McDermot, 2nd floor (All About Theatre studio). 



Advanced Beginner Tap Wednesdays 7-8 pm
  • September 17 - December 3 (12 classes)
  • $150 / $127.50 if registering for additional classes 
This beginner’s class is for students who already have basic tap vocabulary but can benefit from a slow pace. Students know the difference between flaps and shuffles but need steps and combinations broken down. 


Intermediate Broadway Tap Wednesdays 8-9 pm
  • September 17 - December 3 (12 classes)
  • $150 / $127.50 if registering for additional classes 
This fast-paced class will move beyond the basics as we explore different steps, trick steps, and rhythmic improvisation, as well as historical choreographies or standards. 


Basic Beginner Tap Sundays 6:30-7:30 pm
  • September 21 – December 14; no class October 12 or December 7 (11 classes)
  • $137.50 / $117 if registering for additional classes
This class is geared towards anyone who wants to learn the basics. There’s no previous experience needed as we will slowly go over the fundamentals of tap dancing in a fun and welcoming environment.


Introduction to Flamenco Sundays 7:30-8:30 pm
  • September 21 – December 14; no class October 12 or December 7 (11 classes)
  • $137.50 / $117 if registering for additional classes
Learn basic flamenco footwork rhythms and arm movements while slowly introducing castanet playing. Once the foundation is established, we might explore the use of traditional props like fans, shawls, and hats. 

The next class session starts Sunday, January 11 / Wednesday, January 14, 2026.



FEES

Wednesdays (12 classes): $150 / $127.50 if registering for additional classes
Sundays (11 classes): $137.50 / $117 if registering for additional classes
  • $12.50 per class when registering for a full session.
  • 15% discount when registering for two different courses or more.
  • $15 drop-in fee.
  • Missed classes can be made up by attending class in one of the other levels or disciplines.

EQUIPMENT

Tap: Tap shoes are required for classes. Beginners can wear soled shoes for the first few lessons.

Flamenco: Flamenco or character shoes with a heel are required, as well as castanets. Soled shoes can be worn for the first few lessons. Information will be provided in class about shoe brands and where to get castanets.
